  • Nebabie- Feeling Empowered!

Loving my new body is really only one dimension of my Imago transformation. The end goal of weight loss is what led me to want to join Imago, but the journey is what has been the most impactful. Losing 32.9 lbs, going from a size 12 to 6, from well over 30% body fat to 23% body fat, and losing almost 8 inches from waistline, in 24 weeks ended up being more of an added bonus. I tactically learned how to prepare healthy meals and worked up to an exercise regimen that is sustainable and scalable, but the impact of this goes way beyond weight loss and into many other areas of my life.

Losing weight and maintaining, is something I have emotionally struggled with for a very long time. I was fairly active; played tennis on the average once a week and hiked on the weekends. I ate, what I thought at the time, a healthy diet, but in reality it was a mish mash of foods with minimal to no nutritional value. I was fatigued, low on energy, irritable, and felt bloated most days. The Imago Fitness team taught me, how to overcome these habits and harness my potential, with a customized nutritional meal plan and a challenging one-on-one personal physical training. Now I have so much energy. I wake up before my alarm goes off. I look forward to my morning cardio workouts and weight training. Shopping for my meal plan is an exciting weekly outing, and the overwhelming positive reaction and response from my family and friends is a testament to my Imago transformation.

The support and nurturing from the Imago community and my training with Sarah opened my eyes to what my body and mind are capable of. Ecstatic, accomplished, confident, energetic, and supported are feelings and thoughts in my head when I look back on my Imago transformation journey. I feel empowered!
